A friend of ours gave Rog some really good advice the other day, after Rog told him he's going to need to borrow his wisdom in raising a little girl. This friend's advice? "All I know is that girls need lots of love and lots of shoes." And then his wife — unaware of this conversation! — had bought us these yesterday:
We may not be well versed yet in baby girls, but at least we have her first pair of shoes! And the love part? Piece of cake.

haha so great!!
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the shoes! Super adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha...so true!! Lots of clothes and pink things too. I am so happy for you and your family!!!
ReplyDeleteLove those! I'm so excited for you to experience a little girl. Lots of accessories and shoes is all you'll need. In a couple years, it will be beads and boas.
ReplyDeleteI was praying for you on Thursday. I even thought of calling you but didn't have your number in my cell phone. As I read your happy news, I got a lump in my throat. It is a happy day when you get that first report. Unbelievably, Natalie did have a perfect report on her first and only ultrasound (it wasn't a fetal echo though). So when they said Craig was heart healthy, I held out on my rejoicing until we had two very good heart healthy reports.
ReplyDeleteAll in all, I hope this great news will bring a bit of relaxing with it. I'll have to see if there are any cute girly things that I can pass on to you.
So glad to hear Luke is happy and healthy too. He'll be such a proud and protective big brother.
God bless.
