Rakin'
The leaves in our town are so beautiful right now. We don't have a ton in our yard, but on our walk this morning, we saw two boys raking leaves in their leaf-carpeted yard. Of course Luke thought that was a great idea so when we got home the boys headed out to do some serious rakin'.
At one point, Rog stopped to get a drink of water from his water bottle and Luke says to him, "C'mon Dad, we need to keep workin'."

What a big helper! :) I hope the helping days last until the teen years, but I have my doubts! If you figure out how to make it last, let me know! :)

ReplyDeleteWe are struggling through an incredible ordeal with our granddaughter born two months early with a left ventricle that is not functioning. She was born through emergency c-section last Wednesday and has been in NICU since. The cardiologists are painting a very bleak picture for her and we don't want to lose her. We are praying for a miracle. Seeing your blog is encouraging. We want help and options and we want most of all for the Lord to heal her. Her story is at ellalouisedordal.blogspot.com
